Murphy O'Malley

I'm a freshman Computer Science Major and Business Minor at Bethel University in St. Paul Minnesota, studying hard and procrastinating harder. I love reporting on the small stories in peoples lives and trying to bring the readers into the emotions of individuals. I love to make changes in people by bringing inspirational stories of diverse struggles and obstacles into the light for people to read and learn from. I enjoy putting together good words that feel good to read, something that draws readers into the world of the story and connect. 

I enjoy staying in on cold days and drinking something warm, my favorites are lavender chamomile tea and caribou coffee of any kind. My favorite cars are the ones with the soft felt seats and tiny cabs, the kind that your grandma has been driving for 15 years. Through a healthy amount of luck and an amazing aunt I've found myself going down a path I never thought of. My best decisions are ones I don't think to hard about.

I want to continue in journalism, focusing on photography. Capturing moments that can have an impact on every set of eyes that sees them.
